Ruediger Schestag is known for his impressive portraits and his deep understanding of light in photography. Inspired by the work of the renaissance painters and contemporary artists his photography goes a step further in understanding and reading the face and the character of people. Born in southern Germany he now lives in Berlin. His Artwork was shown in several big exhibitions in Germany and Russia (2x at national russian center of photography in St.Petersburg).
He works for fashion designers, media companies and of cause for artists. CD-cover, music videos and concert photography are his passion. In addition to his stage photography he is deeply interested in the very close up image of artists. Many of those rare portraits of artists can be found in his portfolio.
